From a long time Michel Lévy collects some strange and wonderful objects, witnesses of the extraordinary wealth of the biodiversity and of the multiplicity of the Cultures.
It is in a natural and continuous movement that his cognitive thirst made him establishing a cabinet of curiosities, room of the marvels, made up of objects of natural history, of antiques, works of art from all the continents and all the times.
Wondering perpetually himself about the duality principle and about the quintessence of physical things and spiritual things, Michel Lévy cross-examines his objects, confronts them, makes them have a dialogue altogether. Within the framework of installations with a strong symbolic power, he puts this way on the stage paradoxical things, great chimeras, real didactic oxymora, as objects belonging to various spheres and various erae, which should never have mingled but in the mind of a madman falling in love with knowledge and curiosity.
